Mouse Endoglin (Eng) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Endoglin (CD105), a major glycoprotein of vascular endothelium involved in the regulation of angiogenesis and acting as a TGF-beta coreceptor within the TGF-beta/BMP signaling cascade. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, showing specificity toward natural and recombinant mouse Endoglin.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 6.2%. Recovery in serum averaged 92% (range 86-98%) and in plasma averaged 94% (range 88-100%), with linearity established across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices.

The target analyte is encoded by the Eng gene (UniProt Q63961), with a reported molecular weight of 70,021 Da, and is localised as a single-pass type I membrane protein. The kit is intended for research use only, with applications relevant to studies of cancer, cardiovascular disease and vascular biology.
