Mouse EMILIN1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse EMILIN1 concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, including cell culture supernatants. EMILIN1 is a key protein involved in extracellular matrix organization and tissue integrity, and its dysregulation has been implicated in fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a useful biomarker for related research.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/ml and a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/ml. Spiked recovery averages 95% in serum (range 86-105%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 88-102%), and 96% in UFH plasma (range 87-103%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 82-105% across the tested matrices. Intra-assay precision is CV <8% and inter-assay precision is CV <10%. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months and is intended for research use only.

EMILIN1 (elastin microfibril interfacer 1; UniProt Q99K41) is a secreted glycoprotein found mainly at the interface between amorphous elastin and microfibrils. It is thought to anchor smooth muscle cells to elastic fibers and contribute to vessel assembly, and it assembles as a homotrimer through its C-terminal globular C1q domains.
