Mouse ELAV Like Protein 1 (ELAVL1) ELISA Kit

Built around a quantitative immunoassay workflow from Assay Genie, this ELISA Kit measures Embryonic Lethal Abnormal Vision-Like 1 protein (ELAVL1, also called HuR) in mouse-derived samples using an absorbance-based colorimetric readout on a pre-coated microplate. Each kit provides reagents and standards sufficient for 96 assays.

ELAVL1 is a ubiquitously expressed RNA-binding protein that recognizes AU-rich elements within the 3' untranslated regions of target messenger RNAs. Through these interactions, ELAVL1 influences mRNA stability, translational efficiency, and nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of transcripts encoding cytokines, oncogenes, and other regulators of cell growth and inflammatory signaling.

Validated for tissue homogenates, the assay supports research use only applications in vitro, including profiling HuR expression across mouse tissues, monitoring changes in cell culture models following experimental stimulation, and investigating post-transcriptional mechanisms of gene regulation in immunology and cancer research.
