Mouse Elastase 1, Pancreatic (ELA1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Mouse ELA1 immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of pancreatic elastase 1, a serine protease secreted by acinar cells of the exocrine pancreas that degrades elastin along the digestive tract. Investigators apply this kit to characterize exocrine pancreatic function, model acute and chronic pancreatitis, and monitor cystic fibrosis-related pancreatic insufficiency in mouse cohorts. Reconstituted reagents should be kept refrigerated and protected from light during use, with aliquots recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock calibrator. Each pack contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, calibrated standards, wash buffer, and substrate solution sufficient for a full plate run. The procedure is intended for research use only and is compatible with standard absorbance microplate readers.
