Murine Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR, also called ErbB1 or HER1) is a 170 kDa transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase of the ErbB family that drives Ras/MAPK and PI3K/Akt signaling and controls proliferation, migration, and survival in epithelial and neuronal tissues. The Mouse EGFR/ErbB1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a research-use immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of this receptor in experimental specimens, supporting work in oncology, dermatology, and developmental biology studies performed in murine models.

Supplied as a complete microplate kit, the assay accepts conditioned cell culture media, mouse plasma, and serum samples, supporting in vitro work ranging from pathway analysis to pharmacodynamic monitoring of receptor modulation in tumor xenografts and transgenic lines.
