Mouse EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) levels in mouse samples. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration with colorimetric detection by measurement of absorbance at 450 nm.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 1.125 ng/mL and a working range of 1.875–120 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 86–104%, 90–103%, and 93–105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions; in EDTA plasma (n=5) it is 87–97%, 83–101%, and 84–101%; in heparin plasma (n=5) it is 81–98%, 83–97%, and 90–98%. Recovery averages 98% for serum (range 89–103%), 100% for EDTA plasma (range 87–105%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–97%).

The procedure begins with equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by loading standards, samples, and blanks onto the pre-coated plate for a primary incubation of 90 minutes at 37°C. After biotin-labeled detection antibody binding (60 minutes at 37°C) and HRP-Streptavidin binding (30 minutes at 37°C), TMB substrate is added and developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes. The reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
