Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Precision values are 8.3% intra-assay CV and 9.8% inter-assay CV. Recovery averages 89% (83-95%) in serum and 91% (85-97%) in plasma. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions covers 100-112% to 82-94% in serum, 100-110% to 91-101% in EDTA plasma, and 82-92% to 98-109% in heparin plasma. The target (UniProt Q9R1E6) is a secreted enzyme that hydrolyses lysophospholipids to generate lysophosphatidic acid in extracellular fluids and has been implicated in angiogenesis, inflammation, bone metabolism and cancer progression.
