The 96-well microplate format uses a sandwich antibody pair and a luminescent reporter, delivering a broad dynamic range with low background relative to colorimetric ELISA. Serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant samples are validated inputs, and the standard curve typically spans 15–2000 pg/mL. Unopened kits should be stored at 2–8 °C; reconstituted reagents are best kept frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
