Mouse ECF/CCL11 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Eotaxin (CCL11) in mouse samples. It uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection format with a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Eotaxin, also known as C-C motif chemokine ligand 11 (CCL11), is a chemokine involved in the recruitment of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells, and serves as a biomarker for research into allergic diseases, asthma, and inflammatory conditions. The kit supplies a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers, and a technical manual.

Validation data include linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) 92-104%, 82-98%, 83-100%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-101%, 82-98%, 80-94%; heparin plasma (n=5) 87-105%, 82-100%, 88-98%. Spike-recovery averages were 94% for serum (range 91-99%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 85-100%), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 85-103%). The protocol follows a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding, 10–20 minutes of TMB color development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution.
