Mouse ECE1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse ECE1 (Endothelin-Converting Enzyme 1), also referred to as ECE-1 and endothelin converting enzyme 1, using a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, and all components are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.

ECE1 is a key enzyme involved in the processing and activation of endothelins, which are important mediators of vasoconstriction and blood pressure regulation. Dysregulation of ECE1 activity has been linked to various cardiovascular diseases, making it a critical target for studying disease mechanisms and therapeutic interventions. Reported linearity falls within 90-105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, and recovery ranges from 86-104% (average 94%) for serum, 87-101% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-103% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.
