Mouse E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR4 (Ubr4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR4 (Ubr4) in mouse samples. The assay has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR4 and is intended for research use only.

UBR4 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that functions as a component of the N-end rule pathway. It recognises and binds to proteins bearing specific N-terminal residues that are destabilising according to the N-end rule, leading to their ubiquitination and subsequent degradation. Together with clathrin, UBR4 forms meshwork structures involved in membrane morphogenesis and cytoskeletal organization, and it regulates integrin-mediated signaling, with a possible role in activation of FAK in response to cell-matrix interactions. The protein also mediates ubiquitination of ACLY, leading to its subsequent degradation.
