Mouse E-selectin (Sele) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse E-selectin (SELE) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse E-selectin, with reactivity limited to mouse samples.

E-selectin is a cell-surface glycoprotein involved in immunoadhesion, mediating the adhesion of blood neutrophils in cytokine-activated endothelium through interaction with SELPLG/PSGL1. The assay reports a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.091ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.2% and inter-assay CV of 7.6%. Linearity data covers serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery is reported for serum (average 99%, range 93-105%) and plasma (average 101%, range 95-107%).
