Mouse Dual specificity protein phosphatase 4 (Dusp4) ELISA Kit

The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse DUSP4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.055ng/mL. Reported linearity across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum (N=5) was 107-117%, 94-104%, 96-106%, and 82-92% respectively. EDTA plasma (N=5) gave 107-120%, 82-92%, 82-92%, and 93-105%, while heparin plasma (N=5) gave 83-95%, 86-98%, 96-105%, and 107-116%. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, and recovery values are provided with the kit.

DUSP4, also known as MKP-2, is a non-receptor dual-specificity phosphoprotein phosphatase that inactivates ERK1, ERK2 and JNK and is localized in the nucleus. It regulates mitogenic signal transduction by dephosphorylating both Thr and Tyr residues on MAP kinases ERK1 and ERK2.
