Mouse Dopamine beta-hydroxylase (Dbh) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative determination of mouse Dopamine beta-hydroxylase (Dbh), an enzyme that catalyses the conversion of dopamine to noradrenaline. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Dopamine beta-hydroxylase and offers a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Values for intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery are supplied with the kit. Dopamine beta-hydroxylase is also known as Dopamine beta-monooxygenase (UniProt Q64237; NCBI Gene ID 13166). It is a homotetramer composed of two disulfide-linked dimers and is localised to cytoplasmic and secretory vesicle membranes, including chromaffin granules. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been linked to neurological and psychiatric disorders and to cardiovascular conditions, making it a useful biomarker for research into neurobiology, stress responses and cardiovascular function.
