Mouse Docking protein 6 (Dok6) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only and is designed for the accurate detection of Mouse Docking protein 6 (Dok6) levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay offers specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Docking protein 6.

Dok6, also known as Downstream of tyrosine kinase 6, is a member of the DOK family of enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding proteins. These proteins provide a docking platform for the assembly of multimolecular signaling complexes, with DOK6 promoting Ret-mediated neurite growth and potentially playing a role in brain development and/or maintenance. The protein interacts via its PTB domain with phosphorylated RET.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision is reported with an Intra CV of 6.8% and an Inter CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions: serum showed 108–118%, 99–108%, 110–122%, and 80–89% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions respectively; EDTA plasma showed 82–95%, 97–105%, 97–105%, and 100–110%; and heparin plasma showed 107–116%, 95–105%, 110–110%, and 103–112%. Average recovery is 97% (range 91–103%) for serum and 99% (range 93–105%) for plasma.
