Mouse DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 1 (Dnajb1) ELISA Kit

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.091 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 8.2% CV and inter-assay precision is 10.0% CV. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (87–120% across 1:2–1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (93–120%) and heparin plasma (87–123%). Recovery averages 91% in serum (range 85–97%) and 93% in plasma (range 87–99%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse DNAJB1.

DNAJB1 is a member of the DNAJ/HSP40 chaperone family. The protein interacts with HSP70 and stimulates its ATPase activity, promoting protein folding and stability, and is reported at a molecular weight of 38,167 Da (UniProt Q9QYJ3). It translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus and nucleoli upon heat shock.
