Mouse DNA repair protein complementing XP-G cells homolog (Ercc5) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of mouse DNA repair protein complementing XP-G cells homolog (ERCC5), also referred to as XPG. The target functions as a single-stranded structure-specific DNA endonuclease involved in DNA excision repair, where it makes the 3' incision in DNA nucleotide excision repair (NER) and acts as a cofactor for a DNA glycosylase that removes oxidized pyrimidines from DNA. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse DNA repair protein complementing XP-G cells homolog [S1].

The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids [C0, S1].
