Mouse DNA primase large subunit (Prim2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse DNA primase large subunit (Prim2), also known as the DNA primase 58 kDa subunit or p58 (UniProt P33610). The assay reacts with mouse samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, and the kit specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse DNA primase large subunit — a polymerase that synthesises small RNA primers for the Okazaki fragments produced during discontinuous DNA replication.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.088 ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. In spike-and-recovery testing, serum gave an average of 109% (range 103–115%) and plasma 111% (range 105–117%). For research use only.
