Mouse Dkk-1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, the Mouse Dkk-1 (Dickkopf-1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA built on a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection, developed for the accurate measurement of DKK-1 levels in mouse samples. It accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for research in the area of metabolism.

DKK-1 is a key protein involved in the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways, with roles in cell differentiation, proliferation, and development. Its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer's disease, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and a potential target for novel therapeutic strategies. The assay offers a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) was 91-105%, 89-101%, and 86-101% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) 83-96%, 86-99%, 86-96%; and heparin plasma (n=5) 84-99%, 88-105%, 84-100%. Recovery ranges were 85-103% for serum (average 94%), 86-105% for EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 90-104% for heparin plasma (average 100%).

The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and is supplied with a pre-coated ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
