Mouse Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 9 (Adam9) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 9 (ADAM9). The kit is intended for research use only and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse ADAM9, with reactivity against mouse samples. Detection is by ELISA, with absorbance measured on a microplate reader set to 450 nm.

The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.093 ng/mL, enabling quantitative measurement of ADAM9 in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. ADAM9 is a single-pass type I cell membrane protein (UniProt Q61072) involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and reported to cleave substrates with roles in tumorigenesis and angiogenesis, including TEK, KDR, EPHB4, CD40, VCAM1 and CDH5.

Mouse ADAM9 has been investigated as a biomarker linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders and neurodegenerative conditions, supporting its relevance to molecular biology and disease research. The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealers, with intra-assay, inter-assay, linearity and recovery data provided with the kit.
