Mouse Dipeptidyl peptidase 3 (Dpp3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Dipeptidyl peptidase 3 (DPP3) in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. DPP3 is a cytoplasmic and cytosolic metallopeptidase (UniProt Q99KK7; molecular weight 82,898 Da), also known as Dipeptidyl aminopeptidase III, Dipeptidyl arylamidase III, Dipeptidyl peptidase III, Enkephalinase B and DPP III. The enzyme cleaves and degrades bioactive peptides such as angiotensin, Leu-enkephalin and Met-enkephalin, and also cleaves Arg-Arg-beta-naphthylamide in vitro. It participates in processes including immune response regulation and cardiovascular function, and its dysregulation has been linked to heart failure and sepsis, making it a useful biomarker for research into these conditions.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.8% and inter-assay CV is 10.3%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Dipeptidyl peptidase 3 and uses a colorimetric detection method.
