Mouse Diacylglycerol kinase alpha (Dgka) ELISA Kit

It recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Diacylglycerol kinase alpha and is supplied for research use only.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.316 ng/mL. Reported precision values are 8.3% intra-assay CV and 10.1% inter-assay CV. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is documented for serum (95–104%, 106–118%, 94–103%, 111–119%), EDTA plasma (85–94%, 105–113%, 107–117%, 115–127%) and heparin plasma (116–126%, 80–92%, 95–104%, 82–92%). Recovery averages 80% for serum (range 80–86%) and 82% for plasma (range 80–88%).

Diacylglycerol kinase alpha acts by converting the second messenger diacylglycerol into phosphatidate upon cell stimulation, initiating the resynthesis of phosphatidylinositols and attenuating protein kinase C activity. The protein exists as a monomer and the kit falls within the cardiovascular research area.
