Mouse DGAT1/Diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse DGAT1 (Diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. DGAT1 is an essential enzyme that catalyses the terminal and only committed step in triacylglycerol synthesis, playing a key role in lipid metabolism and energy storage. Dysregulation of DGAT1 has been linked to various metabolic disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay provides a sensitivity of 11.2 pg/ml with a working range of 18.75–1200 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery was demonstrated in serum (88–104%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (88–105%, average 98%) and UFH plasma (86–101%, average 96%), with consistent linearity across serial dilutions of spiked samples. Intra-assay CV is reported as <8% and inter-assay CV as <10%. The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer (25X) and plate sealer.
