Mouse Deoxyribonuclease I (DNASE1) ELISA Kit

DNASE1 is a calcium- and magnesium-dependent endonuclease that cleaves phosphodiester bonds in single- and double-stranded DNA, with established roles in apoptotic chromatin breakdown, neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) dissolution, and clearance of circulating cell-free DNA. Reduced DNASE1 activity has been documented in mouse models of systemic lupus erythematosus and lupus nephritis, and altered expression has been reported across additional autoimmune and inflammatory contexts, making quantitative protein measurement a useful endpoint for immunology research. The Assay Genie Mouse DNASE1 ELISA is supplied as a complete reagent set configured for 96 determinations on a standard microplate, with an absorbance-based readout compatible with conventional plate readers. Capture antibodies are pre-coated onto the plate, and bound mouse DNASE1 is detected using a biotinylated secondary antibody and streptavidin–HRP conjugate developed with TMB substrate. Reagents are shipped refrigerated and should be stored at 4 °C until first use to preserve antibody and protein stability; the assay is intended for in vitro research use only.
