Mouse Deoxyribonuclease-1 (Dnase1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse Deoxyribonuclease-1 (DNase1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay reacts specifically with natural and recombinant mouse Deoxyribonuclease-1 and is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 78-5000pg/ml, a sensitivity of 41.9pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Recovery is 93% (87-99%) in serum and 95% (89-101%) in plasma. Linearity has been characterised across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

DNase1 is an enzyme involved in the breakdown of DNA, with roles in cell death, immune response and tissue remodeling; its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune diseases, inflammation and tissue damage, making it a biomarker of interest in cancer research. The protein is secreted and stored in zymogen granules and is associated with UniProt accession P49183.
