Detection is by chemiluminescence: a micro CLIA plate pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse DEFa5 is used together with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. The Relative Light Unit (RLU) value, read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, is positively associated with Mouse DEFa5 concentration.
