Mouse DAB1/Disabled homolog 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Disabled homolog 1 (DAB1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a measurement range of 0.781–50 ng/mL.

DAB1 is described in the product literature as a key protein involved in regulating neuronal migration and positioning during brain development, with dysregulation implicated in various neurological disorders. Validated linearity is reported for serum (88–105% at a 1:2 dilution), EDTA plasma (83–91% at 1:2), and heparin plasma (83–100% at 1:2), alongside recovery data such as serum (96–101%, average 99%) and heparin plasma (91–103%, average 99%).

The protocol follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubate standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, incubate with HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, then add stop solution and read absorbance at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
