Mouse D-beta-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (Bdh1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie intended for the accurate measurement of D-Beta-Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase (Bdh1) levels in mouse samples. The enzyme is a key component of ketone body metabolism, contributing to energy production and metabolic balance, and abnormal levels have been linked to metabolic disorders including diabetes, obesity, and ketogenic diet-induced ketosis.

The kit is reactive with mouse samples, with a reported detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40pg/mL. Precision values are listed as an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 7.3%. The product is for research use only.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery ranges of 85-97% (average 91%) for serum and 87-99% (average 93%) for plasma are reported. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse D-beta-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial, a homotetramer localised to the mitochondrion inner membrane and matrix with a molecular weight of 38,299 Da.
