Mouse Cytosol aminopeptidase (Lap3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Cytosol aminopeptidase (LAP3), also referred to as Leucine aminopeptidase 3, Leucyl aminopeptidase, Proline aminopeptidase, Prolyl aminopeptidase, LAP-3, or Lapep. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.083ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.5%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Reported linearity for serum (N=5) spans 110-120% at 1:2, 105-114% at 1:4, 85-95% at 1:8, and 97-109% at 1:16; for EDTA plasma (N=5) 101-109% at 1:2, 110-120% at 1:4, 101-111% at 1:8, and 98-110% at 1:16; for heparin plasma (N=5) 112-122% at 1:2, 93-105% at 1:4, 81-91% at 1:8, and 110-120% at 1:16. Recovery averages 99% (range 93-105%) in serum and 101% (range 95-107%) in plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Cytosol aminopeptidase.

LAP3 is presumably involved in the processing and regular turnover of intracellular proteins, catalysing the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal amino acids from various peptides. The enzyme is cytoplasmic, belongs to the peptidase M17 family, and has a molecular weight of 52,750 Da (UniProt: Q9CPY7; NCBI Gene ID: 66988). The kit is stored at -20°C and shipped at +4°C.
