Mouse Cytochrome C ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of cytochrome C levels in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is positioned as a tool for research into the role of cytochrome C in health and disease in mouse models.

The kit achieves a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL across a working range of 0.391–25 ng/mL, with reactivity confirmed in mouse. Reported linearity spans 86–105% in serum, 85–101% in EDTA plasma, and 86–98% in heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 (n = 5). Recovery averages 95% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma, and 92% in heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 87–103%, 89–105%, and 86–103%. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm immediately after stop solution addition.
