Quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie engineered to measure mouse CYR61 (cysteine-rich angiogenic inducer 61), a secreted matricellular CCN-family protein involved in angiogenesis, cell adhesion, fibrotic signaling, and tumor microenvironment crosstalk. The kit is configured as a research-use-only in vitro tool for studies in cardiovascular biology, wound-healing models, fibrotic disease research, and oncology.

CYR61 (also designated CCN1) is a heparin-binding, integrin-binding extracellular signaling molecule that mediates downstream cues through αvβ3, α6β1, and related integrin receptors. Researchers studying retinal neovascularization, vascular injury responses, tissue remodeling, or inflammation-related signaling pathways in murine models rely on quantitative CYR61 measurements to track angiogenic and inflammatory dynamics in serum-derived, plasma-derived, and tissue-homogenate preparations from experimental mouse cohorts.

The kit includes pre-coated microplate wells, detection reagents, and reference standards sufficient for up to 96 determinations. Researchers store components refrigerated upon arrival and equilibrate to room temperature before each run, with each plate supporting a full standard curve alongside unknowns for batch comparison across treatment groups in preclinical mouse studies.
