Mouse Cyp19a1/Cytochrome P450 19A1 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Cyp19a1 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Recovery tested with spiked samples averaged 97% for serum (range 93–105), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 90–105) and 94% for UFH plasma (range 86–105). Intra-assay CV is below 8% and inter-assay CV below 10%. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months, and the kit is for research use only.

CYP19A1, also known as aromatase, is a key enzyme in estrogen biosynthesis that catalyzes the formation of aromatic C18 estrogens from C19 androgens. Its dysregulation has been implicated in breast cancer, endometriosis and osteoporosis, making this assay a useful tool for studies in molecular biology and pharmacology.
