Mouse Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (Cdk2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (Cdk2), also referred to as Cell division protein kinase 2. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples, accepting serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance figures supplied by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.156–10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.084ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (100–109%, 109–119%, 108–116%, 108–117%), EDTA plasma (115–125%, 98–108%, 110–119%, 103–113%) and heparin plasma (99–107%, 90–100%, 103–111%, 91–101%). Recovery averages 88% (range 82–94%) for serum and 90% (range 84–96%) for plasma.

The assay recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 and is supplied for research use only, with relevance to cancer research. The target is described as a serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in cell cycle control, contributing to the G1-S transition and modulating G2 progression, with activity reported to be maximal during S phase and G2.
