Mouse CXCL5/ENA-78 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie that enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse ENA-78 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, with reactivity specific to mouse samples.

The assay is reported with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Manufacturer validation data include recovery in serum (range 85-102%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (range 86-101%, average 92%) and UFH plasma (range 88-98%, average 91%); linearity evaluated across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; intra-assay precision of CV <8%; and inter-assay precision of CV <10%.

The target analyte CXCL5, also referenced by the aliases ENA-78, SCYB5 and Epithelial Neutrophil Activating Peptide 78, is a secreted CXC-subfamily chemokine associated with neutrophil chemotaxis and inflammatory response, with biological processes including immune response, leukocyte homeostasis and positive regulation of the JAK-STAT cascade. Mouse deficiency of this gene is associated with neutrophil-dependent increased lung inflammation. The supplied kit includes an ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, intended for storage at 4°C for 6 months.
