Mouse CXCL16 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double antibody configuration for quantitative measurement of CXCL16 in mouse samples. The kit supports research into CXCL16, a cell-surface chemokine that plays a critical role in immune responses and inflammation by attracting immune cells to sites of infection or injury.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an analytical range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL, with storage at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity testing with serum (n = 5) returned 90-101%, 86-105% and 89-104% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n = 5) showed 85-100%, 86-101% and 85-99%; heparin plasma (n = 5) gave 86-94%, 84-98% and 82-97%. Spike-and-recovery averaged 98% in serum (range 94-104%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 88-103%).

The colorimetric workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. CXCL16 expression has been linked to inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, and cancer progression, making the analyte a target for biomarker and therapeutic research.
