Description
Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of CXCL1 (GRO alpha) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, supporting research into inflammatory responses where CXCL1 acts as a potent chemoattractant for neutrophils and promotes their migration to sites of infection or injury.
The assay has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/ml and a measuring range of 15.625–1000 pg/ml. Recovery rates across spiked matrices were 95–104% (average 99%) for serum, 90–105% (average 100%) for EDTA plasma and 90–102% (average 95%) for UFH plasma. Linearity following serial dilution was demonstrated between 80% and 105% across the tested matrices, with intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. The kit is supplied with a dismountable 8×12-strip ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labelled antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25× wash buffer and plate sealer, with storage at 4 °C for 6 months unless otherwise indicated.
The target analyte, CXCL1 (also known as KC, GRO1 or MGSA), is a secreted CXC chemokine that signals through CXCR2 to mediate neutrophil chemotaxis and is implicated in inflammatory and acute inflammatory processes. The kit is intended for research use only.
