Mouse CX3C chemokine receptor 1 (Cx3cr1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse CX3C chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1), also known as the fractalkine receptor and by the synonyms CMKbRL1 and V28. The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies in immunology, inflammation, and neurodegenerative diseases, where CX3CR1 acts as a key chemokine receptor regulating immune cell migration and function.

Reactive with mouse samples, the assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant mouse CX3CR1. The reported detection range is 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. The target is a multi-pass membrane protein localised to the cell membrane with a molecular weight of 38 kDa, functioning as the receptor for the CX3C chemokine fractalkine (CX3CL1) and mediating both its adhesive and migratory functions.

Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant mouse CX3CR1, and the protein is documented to form a ternary complex with CX3CL1 and integrin heterodimers ITGAV:ITGB3 or ITGA4:ITGB1.
