Mouse CTGF (Connective Tissue Growth Factor) ELISA Kit (MOES00903)

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich-ELISA kit designed for the quantitative measurement of Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) in mouse samples. The colorimetric assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a capture antibody specific to CTGF, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. The reaction is read at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.16–10 ng/mL. The assay takes 3 h 30 min and uses a sample volume of 100 μL. Recovery is stated as 80%–120%. According to the manufacturer, no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse CTGF and analogues was observed.

Linearity data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and cell culture media at dilutions from 1:2 through 1:16, with average recovery values ranging from 90% to 102%. Recovery in EDTA plasma spans 93–104% (average 99%) and in cell culture media 86–98% (average 92%). Intra- and inter-assay precision CVs range from 4.78% to 6.65%. Storage is 2–8°C, and the kit is for research use in cancer, cardiovascular, and immunology.
