Mouse Crtac1/Cartilage acidic protein 1 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Cartilage Acidic Protein 1 (CRTAC1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for research use in studies of cartilage biology and musculoskeletal health.

CRTAC1 is a glycosylated extracellular matrix protein involved in cartilage development and maintenance. Abnormalities in CRTAC1 levels have been linked to conditions such as osteoarthritis and cartilage degeneration, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and potential therapeutic interventions. The assay provides a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

Validation data show serum recovery of 86–101% (average 94%), EDTA plasma recovery of 88–105% (average 95%), and heparin plasma recovery of 95–102% (average 99%), with demonstrated linearity across dilution ratios in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, and wash and dilution buffers, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
