Mouse CRT/Calreticulin ELISA Kit

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of calreticulin (CRT) in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Calreticulin is described as a multifunctional protein involved in calcium binding, chaperone activity, and immune response modulation, with dysregulation linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular diseases and relevance to signal transduction research.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5 each) is 86–105%, 85–105%, 87–105% for serum; 82–100%, 87–101%, 88–101% for EDTA plasma; and 80–99%, 81–98%, 94–99% for heparin plasma. Reported recovery ranges are 92–102% (average 97%) in serum (n=5), 91–103% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 86–102% (average 94%) in heparin plasma (n=5).

The assay procedure involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
