Mouse Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (Crhr1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of mouse Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRHR1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects both natural and recombinant mouse CRHR1.

CRHR1 is a G-protein coupled receptor for corticotropin-releasing factor (CRH) and urocortin (UCN), with high affinity for both ligands. Receptor activation promotes adenylate cyclase activity and increases intracellular cAMP levels. The receptor is involved in the stress response and regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in anxiety, depression and addiction. The protein localises to the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein and is also found in endosomes following agonist binding.

The kit has a quoted detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.162ng/mL. It is intended for research use only.
