Mouse Contactin 1 (CNTN1) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of Contactin 1 (CNTN1) protein levels in mouse research samples. Contactin 1 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell adhesion molecule of the immunoglobulin superfamily, expressed predominantly on neurons and Schwann cells, where it contributes to axon guidance, paranodal junction formation, and myelination. The kit therefore supports neuroscience and neuroimmunology laboratories studying neurodevelopment, peripheral nerve biology, and mouse models of demyelinating disease such as experimental autoimmune neuritis.

Run on a microplate format with colorimetric readout, the assay accepts tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological preparations derived from mouse origin, making it appropriate for studies of CNS and PNS tissue as well as transfected cell lines.
