Mouse Connective tissue growth factor (Ctgf) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit enables precise measurement of Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CTGF, also known as CCN2, is described as a major connective tissue mitoattractant secreted by vascular endothelial cells. It promotes proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes, mediates heparin- and divalent cation-dependent cell adhesion in fibroblasts, myofibroblasts, endothelial and epithelial cells, and enhances fibroblast growth factor-induced DNA synthesis. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse CCN family member 2.

The kit delivers a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 7.86pg/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Linearity has been validated in mouse serum (86-120%), EDTA plasma (85-110%), and heparin plasma (84-118%) across dilution factors of 1:2 to 1:16. Spike-and-recovery performance averages 102% for serum (range 96-108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98-110%). The target is a secreted extracellular monomer with a molecular weight of 53.5 kDa (UniProt P29268). For research use only.
