Mouse Complement receptor type 2 (Cr2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Complement receptor type 2 (CR2), also referred to as Complement C3d receptor and CD21. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to immunology research, where CR2 functions as a receptor for complement C3d and participates in B lymphocyte activation.

Validated for mouse samples, the assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant mouse Complement receptor type 2. The detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL, with a sensitivity of 0.392ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%.

Linearity was tested in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery was assessed in serum (average 97%, range 91-103%) and plasma (average 99%, range 93-105%). The associated UniProt entry is P19070, and CR2 is described as a single-pass type I membrane protein that interacts with C3dg via Sushi domains 1 and 2.
