Mouse Complement factor H (Cfh) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of complement factor H in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay has a detection range of 3.12-200ng/ml and a sensitivity of 1.64ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and inter-assay CV of 7.9%.

Linearity in serum ranges from 87-114% across dilutions 1:2 to 1:16. EDTA plasma shows 88-117% and heparin plasma 81-129% over the same dilution series. Recovery averages 99% for serum (range 93-105%) and 101% for plasma (range 95-107%). The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse complement factor H (synonyms: Protein beta-1-H, Hf1; UniProt P06909; NCBI Gene ID 12628).

Complement factor H functions as a cofactor in the inactivation of C3b by factor I and increases the rate of dissociation of the C3bBb complex (C3 convertase) and the (C3b)NBB complex (C5 convertase) in the alternative complement pathway.
