Mouse Complement C5/C5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of complement C5 in mouse samples. The kit uses a double antibody format with a colorimetric detection method, and is validated for research applications in immunology and disease model studies. Complement C5 is a key component of the complement system, involved in inflammation and pathogen clearance, and its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory and autoimmune disorders.

It is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery ranges from 86-103% in serum (average 93%), 88-100% in EDTA plasma (average 96%), and 86-105% in heparin plasma (average 94%).

The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
