Mouse Complement C2 (C2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Complement C2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Complement C2, also referred to as C3/C5 convertase, is a secreted serine protease that forms part of the classical complement pathway and plays a central role in the immune response, including inflammation, opsonization and cell lysis. The product is supplied for research use only and is targeted at the immunology research area.

The assay has been validated by the manufacturer with a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.62pg/mL. Precision data are reported as an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum (93-126%), EDTA plasma (94-120%) and heparin plasma (91-118%), while spike-and-recovery averages of 101% (serum) and 103% (plasma) are reported. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse Complement C2 (UniProt P21180).
