Mouse Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 3 (C1qtnf3) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant forms of the target.

C1QTNF3 is a secreted 26.6 kDa protein (UniProt Q9ES30) belonging to the Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein family. It plays a role in the regulation of inflammation and metabolism and is the subject of research into obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disorders. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit provides a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.9pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Recovery in serum averaged 85% (range 80-91%) and in plasma 87% (range 81-93%). The target is also referenced by the synonyms Collagenous repeat-containing sequence 26 kDa protein, Secretory protein CORS26, CORS26, Cors26 and Ctrp3.
