Mouse Collagenase 3 (Mmp13) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie developed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Collagenase 3 (MMP13) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects the natural and recombinant forms of the target. MMP13, also called collagenase-3 or matrix metalloproteinase-13, is a zinc-dependent endopeptidase involved in extracellular matrix degradation and tissue remodelling, with established relevance to wound healing, bone development, and tumour cell invasion.

The kit uses an ELISA detection method with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.5% and inter-assay precision is 8.7%. Dilution linearity has been verified in serum (100–109% down to 87–99% across 1:2–1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (93–102% to 108–120%), and heparin plasma (90–100% to 104–112%). Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum (range 89–101%) and 97% for plasma (range 91–103%). The kit is for research use only and is grouped within Assay Genie's cancer research area.
