Mouse Collagen Type III Alpha 1 (COL3a1) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of mouse Collagen Type III Alpha 1 (COL3A1) in mouse tissue homogenates and other research-derived specimens using a microplate-based detection method.

COL3A1 encodes the pro-alpha1 chain of type III collagen, a fibrillar collagen found in extensible connective tissues such as skin, vasculature, and visceral organ stroma. Investigators apply this kit to study fibrotic remodeling in models of hepatic injury, pulmonary fibrosis, dermal scarring, and cardiac remodeling, alongside research into connective tissue development and vascular wall integrity.

Each kit provides reagents for 96 individual determinations in a microplate format, accommodating moderate-to-high throughput screening of experimental cohorts.
